Who we are

Information you give us
When you request a quote, call or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, town or ZIP code, where your boat is kept, boat details, project details, and any photos you send. We use this only to respond to you, prepare a quote, schedule and perform work, and keep basic records of jobs.
Information collected automatically
Analytics (only with your consent). If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*. If you click Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded and these cookies are not set. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
Essential storage. We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely and block abuse.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We use a few service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and email forwarding), Google (email and, with consent, analytics) and the material suppliers we order from for your job. They process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and job records as long as needed to serve you and for normal business, tax and warranty purposes, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Your choices and rights

- Access, correction and deletion: email us and we'll send you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
- New Jersey residents may have additional rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, including the right to confirm whether we process your data, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We don't sell data or do targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@njmarinecanvas.com. We'll respond within 45 days. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our response.
- Global Privacy Control: we honor GPC browser signals as a request to opt out of analytics cookies.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Quote requests are sent by email to our business inbox and are not stored in a public database. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment card or other sensitive financial details through the form.
Children
This site is for boat owners and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
