What we re-cover
Bow and cockpit cushions, bolsters, backrests, sun pads, transom and lounge seating, V-berths and cabin cushions, helm and companion seats, and engine box covers. If it's foam and vinyl on a boat, we can usually rebuild it.
Marine-grade materials only
Boat upholstery has to handle sun, salt spray and standing water, so we use marine vinyl with UV and mildew inhibitors, UV-resistant thread, and closed-cell or drain-through foam where water collects. Hardware and staples are stainless so they don't rust through the backing boards.
Bring a color you like or match what the boat came with. We'll show you swatches when we measure.
Re-cover or rebuild?
If the vinyl is torn but the foam and base are sound, a re-cover is the most economical fix. If the foam is soaked or crumbling, or the plywood base is rotting, we replace those too so the new cover doesn't fail early. We'll tell you which one your cushions need when we see them.
How it works
- Send a request with your boat and a few photos.
- We come to you to measure, check foam and bases, and pick materials.
- We build the new upholstery in the shop.
- We install it on the boat and make sure every piece fits.
