Marine canvas repair

Not every canvas problem needs a new top. We handle:

Broken or corroded zippers
Pulled or missing snaps and fasteners
Rotted thread and seams coming apart
Torn panels and chafe patches
Cloudy or cracked clear windows replaced in existing frames

Thread is usually the first thing to go on older canvas. A full restitch with UV-resistant thread can buy several more seasons.

We use solution-dyed acrylic canvas, UV-resistant thread, marine-grade zippers and stainless hardware. Every pattern is made on your boat so panels sit tight, shed water and don't flog in the wind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth repairing old boat canvas?

If the fabric is still strong and holds its color, a restitch, new zippers and new windows can make it last several more years for far less than new canvas. If the fabric tears easily or is badly faded, we'll recommend replacing it.

Can you replace just the windows in my enclosure?

Yes. We can cut new clear vinyl or Strataglass into your existing canvas panels as long as the surrounding fabric is in good condition.

When should I order new canvas?

Off-season is best. Ordering in fall or winter means it's ready before launch instead of waiting in the spring rush.
